Classic Honda of Midland Hosting Car Workshop for High School Seniors
MIDLAND, TX - Classic Honda of Midland is helping local teenagers get ready for the real world. The locally owned dealership is partnering with Trinity School of Midland for the 5th year to offer an autocare workshop to the school’s seniors. It is part of the Trinity’s Life One-On-One program. The goal of the program is to prepare students for life beyond Trinity by teaching them life skills such as selfdefense, clothing care, CPR and other valuable life tools
On March 1st, 2022, students will attend the workshop at Classic Honda of Midland where they will learn the following skills:
- Vehicle Car Basics (how to change tires, jump start a vehicle)
- Roadside Assistance
- Learn the Tools Included in Their Vehicle
“We love giving back to the community that has supported us along the way,” said Joey Gabarda, owner of Classic Honda of Midland. “When I was a kid, I didn’t have anyone that taught me these things. I’m happy to have the chance to teach these Seniors about the necessary skills they need for the real world.”
All media is invited to attend this workshop. Staff from Trinity School of Midland and Classic Honda of Midland, as well as students will be available for interviews.
The workshop starts at 9:45 a.m. and a second session will begin at 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 1st.
