Classic Honda Of Midland Sponsors COM Aquatics Scoreboard

Community is at the heart of Classic Honda of Midland. And we strive to give back to West Texans that have made our dealership a success. This time, we are helping our local young athletes.

Classic Honda is the official Meet Sponsor for the West Texas Invitational Dive Meet, held each summer at COM Aquatics. Part of our gift to COM Aquatics included improvements to the scoreboard software for the diving center. The upgrade came to good use during the 2019 USA Diving Zone F Championships in June 2019.

“The sponsorship that Honda so graciously supported included upgrades to the automation system to better and more quickly get scores from judges to the scoreboard,” said Brad Swendig, COM Aquatics executive director & president. “That was done with incredible success and was one of, and possibly, the best competition that I’ve seen with regards to that.”

“There’s nothing like giving back to the community we love,” said Joey Gabarda, Classic Honda of Midland owner. “We owe our success to West Texans and that’s why we work hard to make Midland and the surrounding area a better place to live.”
